The association Pfiffikus was founded in 2008. Pfiffikus organizes four to five weekend academies per year for gifted and motivated children and adolescents. Pfiffikus organizes also free lecture series on topics about gifted education, a parents talk circle, and a parents café. In addition the association regularly organizes every few years an information day for gifted education, in which 300 persons participate.  Pfiffikus has been a talent point at ETSN (European Talent Support Network) since December 2019.
